Meet the Team

In 2024, Co-Founder and CEO Danielle discovered community-based tourism in Malaysian Borneo. She had the time of her life and discovered an industry nobody was building for; she subsequently left her job at one of Europe's leading travel tech companies to fix it.

One year later, during customer discovery in Rwanda she met a fellow founder who told her about Norrsken House Kigali, one of Africa's leading innovation hubs. Norrsken is how she found Co-Founder and CTO Emmanuel.

The two clicked from their very first meeting. Emmanuel has his master's from Carnegie Mellon and spent the first five years of his career building remote-first applications for 70,000+ farmers across Africa and Asia. Danielle spent 10 years in enterprise digitization for global brands before moving to HomeToGo, where she ran customer operations for half a million travelers a year and led teams that beat Airbnb, Booking.com, Vacasa and Vrbo for best customer experience in the industry.

Our collective experience, remote-first tech for farmers with no connectivity and enterprise operations for half a million travelers a year, is exactly what lets us build for both ends of this problem. The same infrastructure that onboards a CBTO in the hills of Uganda also runs the operations for the world's biggest travel companies.
